We are thrilled to celebrate the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society Night of Champions.
This award ceremony recognizes outstanding employees with disabilities who are breaking barriers by changing minds about accessible jobs, and the employers who embrace inclusivity. This year two of our Supported Employment participants received awards. We could not be more proud of them, and every one of our friends in the workforce. This inspiring event is an amazing opportunity to honor the hard work and dedication of our employees with disabilities. It also gives potential employers an opportunity to see how beneficial an inclusive workforce can be. Former Board Vice President, Dr. Ben Spitalnick, says they have multiple new businesses reach out to them every year after hearing businesses’ testimonials at the event.
