EmployAbility Committee Descriptions
Board Governance: Meets approximately every other month by Zoom. Considers prospective candidates for the Board of Directors and actively cultivates and recruits individuals for committee and/or eventual Board service. Plans for succession of Board leadership. Reviews/recommends committee membership. Works on engagement of current and former Board members. Overall Board governance (bylaws, retreat, etc.).
Finance: Meets every other month, third Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. by Zoom. Regularly reviews the financials of EmployAbility. Works closely with the President and CFO to prepare, present, and recommend the annual operating budget. Ensure that proper financial systems and audit processes are in place.
Development: Working with the president, this committee's goals are to raise funds and promote connection within our community. The committee will develop fundraising strategies, identify prospective donors, reach out to community members to solicit support, and assist in planning fundraising events. Our current focus is on EmployAbility's 75th anniversary.
