EmployAbility Committee Descriptions

 Board Governance: Meets approximately every other month by Zoom. Considers prospective candidates for the Board of Directors and actively cultivates and recruits individuals for committee and/or eventual Board service. Plans for succession of Board leadership. Reviews/recommends committee membership. Works on engagement of current and former Board members. Overall Board governance (bylaws, retreat, etc.).

Finance: Meets every other month first Friday at 8 a.m. by Zoom. Regularly reviews the financials of EmployAbility. Works with President and CFO on preparing, presenting, and recommending annual operating budget. Ensure proper financial systems and audit processes.

Development:  Working with the president and the director of development, this committee's goals are to raise funds and promote connection within our community. The committee will build fundraising strategies, identify prospective donors, reach out to members of the community to request support, and help plan fundraising events.
