We Stay Sharp with Continuing Education

At EmployAbility, we are committed to providing the best possible services to our deserving participants.  Throughout the year, our staff completes training and certification courses to ensure everyone is up to date on best practices while caring for some of our most vulnerable populations.

Safety is always our top priority. Every year we participate in MindSet Training to establish guiding principles to create and maintain a culture of prevention and specific communication strategies for oppositional behaviors. We learn de-escalation language and avoidance techniques to maintain safety for everyone involved. MindSet Training is a “proactive approach that promotes safe climates for growth and developing a culture of prevention. MindSet creates positive outcomes for staff and the individuals served.

In addition to safety training, we provide educational training through Relias on subjects like:
